Food Review at Asteria Mũi Né
Let's Talk About the Food
This is an important part, so let's dive in. If you've got the full service package with 5 meals a day at the resort, you'll enjoy three buffet meals. If you're not too picky, these three buffets will be enough, meaning you'll be full and won't have to stress about what and where to eat. Why just "enough"?- Drinks: The selection is pretty impressive. You can see more in the clips and pictures. There's even red and white wine options for dinner, which is a nice touch. I'm not a wine expert, but it's a bit different from other 4-star resorts.
- Main Dishes: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner offer similar options like beef stew, fried chicken with fish sauce, soups, and broth served in a pot with small bowls for you to serve yourself, fried rice, porridge, stir-fried or boiled vegetables, stir-fried vermicelli, noodles, sausages, cold cuts, various egg dishes, roasted duck, roasted pork, bánh hỏi, spring rolls, bánh ướt, Vietnamese sausage, steamed cassava... These were the dishes I tried during the three main meals. There are other dishes I don't remember, but they're all basic, no seafood or anything special.
- Desserts: In the morning, the yogurt is delicious. There's waffles with chocolate sauce, made fresh. Other sweets like croissants, muffins, chocolate, passion fruit... are the same as everywhere else.
- Kids' Corner: There's a candy bar for kids, with yummy gummy candies. Of course, there's also a cereal bar with fresh milk. For fruit, there were only watermelon, longan, guava, and pineapple. Loads of green bananas left untouched.
