🍚 This famous claypot rice and healthy soup spot from Yaowarat has opened a new branch at Ratchaphruek! It's located in The Circle Ratchaphruek, a great location with easy access and plenty of parking.
🥢 The food is Chinese homestyle, following family recipes passed down since grandma's generation. Dining here feels like eating a meal at home, a place where families can bring their parents and grandparents.
🍲 Every dish is served in a claypot, piping hot. When you lift the lid, the steam rises, and the soup bubbles invitingly. The flavors are delicious, the portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable.
New Menu Alert: Whole Grain Rice! 🫘
🍚 Claypot Chicken with Whole Grain Rice 140 baht (Regular Jasmine rice is 120 baht, add 20 baht for whole grain). Claypot King's claypot rice is a must-try! The whole grain rice complements the sauce perfectly, and it's cooked just right, not at all hard. Definitely give it a try!
🍚 Braised Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce Rice 160 baht. They use specially selected pork ribs, marinated overnight, and then braised in a claypot with taro. It's incredibly fragrant and delicious.
🍲 Braised Shark Fin Soup in a Claypot 600 baht. Served hot and ready to eat, this dish features high-quality shark fin braised in a claypot with chicken broth that has been simmered for a long time. The shark fin is perfectly cooked, not mushy at all, and the broth is rich and flavorful. Love it!
🍲 Coconut Soup with Pork Ribs 230 baht. Served in a whole coconut from Amphawa orchards. It's braised with pork ribs, shiitake mushrooms, and Chinese herbs. There's a limited quantity available each day, so it's recommended to book in advance.
🥜 Fried Tofu with Peanut Dip 95 baht. A new menu item, perfect for a snack while you wait for your meal. It's very enjoyable!
🥛 Almond Drink 60 baht. A traditional Chinese almond drink, not often found. It has a unique flavor and is a health drink with Chinese medicinal properties, such as quenching thirst, nourishing the lungs, and relieving coughs, especially helping to clear phlegm.
🥤 Monk Fruit Drink 60 baht. A concentrated Chinese herbal drink served with ice. The taste is just right, with natural sweetness. It has antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
There are so many other tempting dishes. I'll definitely be back again! Next time, I'll bring my parents along. 🥰
