Pwn2Own is a globally recognized hacking contest, organized by Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative (ZDI). The competition's aim is to identify and exploit zero-day vulnerabilities in widely used software and devices. It is a platform for security researchers to demonstrate their expertise and contribute to the improvement of security across various tech systems. These systems span from web browsers and operating systems, to cars, and now, even AI platforms. Held at OffensiveCon in Berlin, Germany, from May 15th to 17th, 2025, Pwn2Own Berlin 2025 awarded a total of 1,078,750 USD for 28 discovered zero-day vulnerabilities.
The Results
🥇 STAR Labs SG took the top spot, winning a prize of 320,000 USD and 35 points.
🥈 Viettel Cyber Security impressively secured second place, with 155,500 USD and 15.5 points. They made a significant impact by successfully exploiting a vulnerability on NVIDIA Triton.
The subsequent positions were claimed by Reverse Tactics (112,500 USD, 11.25 points), Synacktiv (80,000 USD, 8 points), and Wiz Research (70,000 USD, 7 points).
