Homestay Adventure in Thailand
A young woman booked a mountain homestay in Thailand and was a little nervous about the large window in her room. The friendly homestay owner assured her everything would be fine and that two "bodyguards" would be assigned to her room.
These protectors turned out to be a golden retriever and a Samoyed! The owner explained that these two furry friends would be alert to any unusual sounds, ensuring a peaceful night. The intention was clearly to put the guest at ease, a common practice in the welcoming Thailand.
However, come nightfall, these two "protectors" were fast asleep! The woman woke up hungry twice during the night for a midnight snack, yet the dogs didn't stir. Adding to the amusement, before bedtime, they'd had a little spat. Each dog retreated to their own corner, completely ignoring each other and their supposed "client."
Despite their lack of serious work, the woman couldn't help but adore them. The next morning, she even took on the role of dog walker, enjoying their company during a morning stroll. The story highlights the warmhearted charm found in many Thai homestays.
