Saigon Dining Room: A Culinary Gem in Thao Dien
Tucked away in the heart of Thao Dien, you wouldn't expect to find such an impressive restaurant hidden behind a grand villa. True to its name, "Saigon Dining Room" feels like a spacious dining hall, boasting a cozy design and captivating details.
The owners, also the brains behind the high-end ceramics company Cuong Phat, which specializes in restaurants and hotels, ensure every dish is presented beautifully using their exquisite plates and bowls.
A Delightful Dining Experience
The 1500++ set menu, while not extensive, delivers consistently high-quality dishes. Two dishes truly stood out: the cod with yuzu garlic sauce and the 14-day dry-aged Long An duck.
The duck's meat was incredibly tender, with an intense sweetness that showcased the freshness of each fiber. They also offer a whole roasted duck, complete with sauce, for 750K, which is a very reasonable price considering the duck is nearly 3kg and can feed 4-5 people.
