Review of Top High Airport Link Hotel
This hotel is right in the heart of Bangkok, close to the Pratunam market, and everything is great for the price.
1. Location:
- The hotel is down an alley, but taxis, Grab cars, and 7-seater vehicles can get right to the entrance. The downside is that it's difficult to catch a car during rush hour; you might have to walk out to the main road.
- The hotel is quite close to Pratunam market, Big C SuperCenter, Platinum Fashion Mall, and Central World, making shopping very convenient. You can get to these places in just a few minutes by tuk-tuk. (Tuk-tuk fares are around 100 baht; you'll need to bargain).
- The hotel offers a free tuk-tuk service within specific hours, from 8 am to 5 pm.
- The hotel is about a 4 to 5 minute walk (500m) from the Phaya Thai BTS station, from which you can easily reach famous Bangkok attractions by BTS train. (A plus)
- There is a laundry service and Thai massage available at the hotel.
- The Sky ARL train goes directly to Suvarnabhumi Airport (another plus).
- It's only about a 150m walk to a Seven Eleven, which is very convenient. (Another plus)
2. Rooms and Amenities:
- When I stayed there, I was assigned to a newly built room (at the front).
- The room is quite small, but relatively clean.
- There are no slippers or toothbrushes provided.
- There is no hairdryer.
- There is no hot water pot in the room, but if you want hot water, you can easily find a hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway.
- I read reviews where people complained about noise because of the nearby railway, but I found it to be normal.
On the first floor, at the front desk, there's a scale, which is very convenient for weighing luggage before you leave.
On my departure day, since I left early in the morning, it cost 600 baht to get to Suvarnabhumi airport by Grab.
