Here's a peek at my experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman North in Kuala Lumpur. This review covers my stay from June 1st to 2nd, a quick 2 days and 1 night.

Parking: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Parking can be a bit of a dance. You'll need to unload your bags at the hotel entrance and then use the valet service. It's RM16 per day, payable at the reception. Be prepared for a wait during busy times.
Check-in Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The lobby is cozy, but well-maintained and clean. On the left, you'll find a café for breakfast. The right side features a seating area called "The Garden," adorned with potted plants, creating a fresh atmosphere. There's also a workspace with two computers, decorated with green wallpaper. Stairs lead to the elevators at the back. An elevator machine is available for guests in wheelchairs. Despite the hotel's size, there's a gym. Two elevators with mirrored walls provide a sense of spaciousness. The hallways feature a KLCC-themed wall decoration.
The Room: ⭐⭐⭐
The room is a decent size for two. It has a long platform bench by the window. The queen-sized bed was comfortable. The room was also very clean. No balcony, but the view of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and Chow Kit is nostalgic for those who grew up in Kuala Lumpur. There's also an electric kettle, tea, mugs, and a mini-fridge. Basic TV channels are available, but no Netflix.
Bathroom: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Even though it's compact, the black and white tiled walls make the bathroom feel larger. The provided soap, shampoo, lotion, and handwash are in wall-mounted bottles, giving a luxurious feel. There's a water pipe in the toilet; no bidet.
Breakfast: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Considering the hotel's size, the breakfast selection, as shown in the pictures, was satisfying. The cafe atmosphere was also clean and conducive. Breakfast is available for an additional RM35 per adult.
Pool: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The pool is located at the Hilton Garden Inn South (two buildings away) on the rooftop. There's no kids' pool. The South Wing rooftop café offers great views of Kuala Lumpur, including KLCC, Menara KL, Menara 118, and Kampung Baru.

Check-out was a breeze with the express check-out box. Just drop your access card in.
Overall Impression: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'd give it 3.5 stars overall. It's a good option for a short staycation in KL at a reasonable price. The location is close to Kampung Baru, making it easy to explore the area. It's also a good choice for shopping trips in KL, like during the festive season, or if you have business in the city center. Taking a Grab is the easiest way to get around if you don't want to worry about parking. The rooftop café, with its KL landmarks in the background, would be perfect for a birthday or anniversary celebration at night. Kuala Lumpur is a vibrant city!
