2 Days 1 Night in Nhơn Hải Village, Bình Định: A Beautiful Escape Under 700🪴/ Person!
If you ask me where deserves more "viral" attention in Vietnam, I wouldn't hesitate to say Nhơn Hải fishing village, Bình Định. About 20km from Quy Nhơn city center, it's not a super famous spot, but it has everything that makes me remember it fondly: crystal-clear blue sea, the untouched beauty of Hòn Khô island, delicious fresh seafood, and above all, incredibly friendly and genuine locals🥰.
I was staying in Phù Cát, so I rode a motorbike. You can figure out the travel time based on where you're starting from.
Accommodation
I stayed at Phát Lợi Hotel, run by a lovely couple. A room for two was only 350🪴/night. It was clean, well-equipped, and had a balcony overlooking the sea – absolutely amazing!
Foodie Adventures
Food in Nhơn Hải is also incredibly affordable. My friend and I spent around 500🪴/person, enjoying snacks and seafood for 2 days and 1 night. The food is also easy to eat, so you don't have to worry!
Coffee Delights
There are two coffee shops in Nhơn Hải that seem to be the most stylish:
- Quà Của Ốc: This place is decorated in a Santorini style, right on the beach, so you can enjoy the sea view. I think it's best to go in the afternoon because the sunlight will come from behind the shop, so you won't be in the shade. The shop opens its awning on the roof for taking photos and videos. Drinks range from 16-30🪴.
- Cococamp: It's an outdoor venue with a natural style overlooking the sea. I noticed that the beach here is crowded in the afternoon. They also serve food here, so you can go early before your check-in time to have coffee and lunch. Drinks are from 15-30🪴.
Island Exploration
Nhơn Hải is famous for its Hòn Khô tour, which involves admiring and diving amidst the seaweed, coral, and fish. I didn't get a chance to experience it this time, but I heard it's beautiful. I'll try it next time🤣🤣. Since the village is small, I think 2 days and 1 night is perfect, or add another day for a more relaxed stay!
Snack Time
In the afternoon, if you want to eat snacks, go near Cococamp. There are many snack vendors there, as many people gather in the afternoon. I also noticed that Nhơn Hải is well-maintained because the cleaning staff regularly clean up the trash, so the beach is mostly clean!
