Phan Thiết Adventure: My Recent Trip

Just got back from a fantastic week in Phan Thiết! Thanks to the reviews in our group, I gathered some great tips for my trip. Here's a recap:

Lunch at Stop And Go Làng Chài Resort

I headed straight from SG to Stop And Go Làng Chài Resort for lunch and enjoyed their "lẩu thả." The place had lovely decorations and the food was pretty good (see photos 1, 2, 3). When it was time to leave, the reception arranged a familiar taxi to take me to my hotel, which I booked with the tour. While waiting, I had the chance to check out the rooms; they're about 100-200 meters from the restaurant and right on the beach. I took the resort's car, and we drove through the area, passing by local homes.

Staying at Mandala Cham Bay

I booked a room at Mandala Cham Bay. You can send your booking to the hotel via Zalo to know which building you're in. The car will go straight to that building for check-in. If you arrive early and your room isn't ready, you can use your booking confirmation (contact the front desk) to participate in activities like the kids club and the swimming pools. Mandala offers many services, as shown in photo 4. Knowing these can help you make the most of your stay. My little one loved the pool when the bubbles were on, so we timed our visits accordingly. It was windy, so we missed the drone show, which was a shame. The pool in the middle (ground floor) is windier than the two infinity pools on the 25th floor, which are closer to the sea, but with your room card, you can borrow towels and return them to get your card back. A key thing to remember at Mandala is to always carry your room card with you.

Across the road from Mandala, by the beach, there are many food stalls like seafood (cooked on the spot), bánh bột lọc, hot tofu, and especially the "cháo dã tràng," which I didn't get a chance to try. I showed my room card to the Mandala lifeguards on the beach to get a boat for photos, but didn't actually go out on the water. Mandala has two types of guests, hotel guests and condotel guests, so the room cards are different. The condotel setup provides shops below with many convenience stores and reasonably priced food.

Wrapping Up

I'll be heading back to SG from Mandala soon and will share an update about transportation for everyone.
