Vietravel Airlines Expands Fleet with New Airbus A320
On August 4th, at Noi Bai International Airport, Vietravel Airlines welcomed its own Airbus A320 aircraft. This marks the second Airbus aircraft the airline has acquired since T&T Group became a shareholder.
In addition to passenger transport, Vietravel Airlines is preparing to enter the Air Cargo market and expand into related aviation services. These include ground handling, warehousing, cargo handling, technical services, and other aviation industry activities.
The new Airbus A320, registered as VN – A136, features a configuration of 182 seats. It will commence operations this August following technical maintenance completion.
Previously, in late June 2025, Vietravel Airlines took delivery of its first owned Airbus A321. This move signaled a new direction in its strategy, transitioning "from leasing to ownership," supported by its strategic shareholder, T&T Group.
The Airbus A321 and A320 are narrow-body aircraft widely used in the Asia-Pacific region. They are known for efficient operation, fuel economy, and are suitable for domestic routes and shorter to medium-haul international flights.
