Holiday Inn Sepang Review (23-24/8/25)
I've returned to Holiday Inn Sepang, this being my fifth stay since its opening in August 2023. My last visit was back in January. This time around, I booked a Standard room using the corporate rate available to MAG staff, which cost RM249.62. This price includes taxes but excludes breakfast. Room rates typically range from RM300 to RM350 depending on the dates. Breakfast is available for an additional RM31 per person.
I arrived at the hotel around 3:00 PM and headed straight to the reception desk located in the lobby. The lobby is on the ground floor and also features a restaurant and a cafe. Check-in was quick, and I received my room key, heading straight to my room on the 9th floor. There are four elevators, so waiting times are minimal.
The Standard room, which spans 322 square feet, feels quite spacious. Entering the room, there's a large wardrobe on the right. Inside, besides space for hanging clothes, you'll find an iron, ironing board, and a bathrobe. Next to the wardrobe is a cabinet with coffee and tea making facilities.
In the bedroom area, besides the king-size bed, there's a sizable sofa on the left. At the end of the sofa is a small rectangular table. Facing the foot of the bed is a long desk. A chair is provided for guests who need to work. A reading lamp sits atop the desk. In the center, there's a mini-fridge and a safety deposit box. A 55-inch TV is mounted on the wall opposite the bed. This time, my room overlooked the back of the hotel.
The bathroom is to the left of the entrance and is also spacious. It includes a sink, toilet, and a shower area. The shower area is roomy, enclosed by a clear glass. A bidet is provided beside the toilet, and the hotel offers a full range of toiletries.
The hotel boasts a large swimming pool on the 3rd floor. There's also a smaller pool for children. The pool is open from 7 AM to 8 PM. Next to the pool is a 24-hour gymnasium.
Free Wi-Fi in the room provides speeds around 30mbps. For mobile networks, CelcomDigi offers speeds of 78mbps, and Tune Talk provides 37mbps. The hotel offers many free TV channels, mostly in HD. Water pressure in the shower is strong, which is a big plus.
As mentioned in my previous reviews, I enjoy staying here because of its convenient location, surrounded by eateries and convenience stores. There's also a mall just a few meters away. The hotel is relatively new, and it's clean and comfortable. It has a large swimming pool for guests. Plus, the hotel is only about 12km from KLIA, making it ideal for a transit stay. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to KLIA. For those who like shopping, Mitsui Outlet Park is about 7 km away. Guests can also take the ERL train and get off at the Salak Tinggi ERL Station, which is only 2.4 km from the hotel.
I've included some photos I took during this stay. If you'd like to read more of my hotel reviews, please visit my group. For more details about my staycation, you can follow me on FB. Thank you for reading 😉
