Singapore Adventures: A Fun 4-Day Trip!
Just got back from a fantastic 4-day trip to Singapore (August 22-25) and it was truly amazing! Filled with so many fun experiences. The itinerary included some must-see spots like Marina Bay, Merlion Park, Universal Studios Singapore (USS), and exploring the lively food scenes in Chinatown and Bugis for some yummy Singaporean specialties.
Foodie Delights in Singapore
Singapore is famous for its hawker centers, which are essentially food havens. Chinatown and Bugis have countless delicious dishes like Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, frog porridge, satay... all at really good prices and easy to find.
Universal Studios Singapore: A Thrilling Experience
It's a good idea to arrive at USS early, around 9 AM, to get a head start on the lines. Definitely prioritize the most popular rides like Transformers, Battlestar Galactica, and Jurassic Park.
I purchased my USS tickets through Travelgram. It was super convenient because the tickets were flexible, allowing for cancellations if plans changed.
Getting Around Singapore
Travelgram also provided an Ezlink card, which made using the MRT and bus incredibly easy. It saved both time and money.
Useful Travel Tips
- Go to USS early to make the most of your visit. The lines get much longer as the day goes on.
- Eat at the hawker centers; the food is delicious and affordable.
- If you book through Travelgram, you can relax knowing they offer great service and flexible support.
Final Thoughts
Singapore, even though it's a small country, feels clean, modern, and safe. It's a great destination, especially for those taking their first international trip. The city will impress you!
