Ramen Adventure in the Land of the Rising Sun
This ramen series took place right in the heart of the Japanese town. A friend led the way for this culinary adventure.
The moment I saw the restaurant, the feeling was undoubtedly legit.
My Ramen Experience
Here's what I thought about the food:
-
🍜 Tonkotsu Ramen: The rich, creamy broth delivered that classic taste. Having had so much ramen before, this one didn't quite blow me away.
-
🍲🐟 Fish Ramen: I can't recall the exact name, but I highly commend their preparation. The broth, though fish-based, was clean and didn't have a strong fishy smell. I reviewed another place in District 7 where the chef supposedly worked in Japan for years. Their fish ramen, however, had a smell that might be off-putting for some.
-
🍗 Zakuzaku Spicy Chicken: The spices used were delicious, fragrant, and reminded me of Chinese cuisine.
-
🫘 Side Dish: It was tasty and offered complimentary refills. I highly recommend the sides to accompany your noodles.
Overall, this place is great, especially the fish ramen. Score: 10/10!
