The First Bar: A Vietnamese Night Begins
Is it a bar first? In the West, it's common to start at a bar, enjoy a few drinks, and then move to a dinner table once you're feeling a bit loose. The setup of this establishment seems to reflect that very structure. (The French patrons certainly seemed to be doing just that!)
However, in Japan, the custom leans towards enjoying food and drinks at the same time, starting the evening from the table. It's interesting to observe the different cultural approaches.
A Diverse Menu
The menu offers a delightful array of options. From French cuisine to Spanish tapas, from perfectly grilled mackerel to a comforting curry rice, it truly seems like the chef's culinary desires and cravings guide the selections.
The owner, a Japanese gentleman, is impeccably dressed in a well-tailored bartender's suit.
And everything tastes wonderful, incredibly delicious. The night in Ho Chi Minh City is just beginning.
